Brass Monkey
A Brass Monkey engineer servicing a commercial ice bath
ProCare. Commercial care.

Your ice bath is infrastructure. ProCare keeps it that way.

A commercial plunge needs two things done: the servicing, and everything the water uses up between visits. ProCare+ covers both on one monthly Direct Debit, and keeps the record.

Commissioned by our engineers and signed off before we leave. Checked again at 48 hours and 30 days. Around 95% of issues resolved remotely.

Two jobs keep a plunge working.

A commercial cold plunge is a small, hard-working water treatment plant. Keeping it available comes down to two kinds of work. One is skilled and scheduled: the water drained and refilled, the plant cleaned, the pump descaled, the sensors and dosing calibrated, the seals replaced. The other is supply: reagents, chlorine and pH acid, filters, cleaning solutions, a UV lamp, a monthly laboratory test. None of it lasts, and all of it has to be there before it runs out.

A plunge rarely fails outright. It drifts. The reagents run out and nobody reorders. A filter stays in a week too long. Then on a busy Saturday morning the unit locks out on flow, and the fault has been building since Tuesday.

ProCare covers the first job, ProCare Supply the second, and ProCare+ both.

Servicing and supply: the two jobs that keep a commercial plunge available

Servicing, supply, or both.

ProCare. Servicing.

Our engineers on a set schedule, working through the full visit below. Seals replaced every visit, and the capacitor annually on Spa. A photo-evidenced completion sheet after every visit, so the service side of the record is ours. You order your own reagents, chemicals, filters, UV lamps and dosing tubes, and keep your own record of what went into the water.

ProCare Supply. Consumables.

Everything the water uses up, delivered quarterly by courier: test reagents, filters and filter cleaning solution on the Pro range, deep clean solution for the monthly biofilm reset, the UV lamp and dosing tubes, and the monthly laboratory test, booked, sampled and recorded against your unit. Built for estates that employ their own pool plant engineers and keep servicing in house.

Most sites choose this

ProCare+. Both.

The full service, plus everything the water uses up, on one monthly figure. The quarterly box arrives with the engineer we're already sending, so there's no delivery charge. UV lamps and dosing tubes are fitted on the visit at no extra labour. And the whole record lives in HALO: every visit, every part, every consumable and every lab test, dated against your unit and there when you need it. It costs less than buying servicing and supply separately.

On every level, chlorine and pH acid arrive on their own six-monthly delivery by specialist carrier. They're corrosive goods and can't travel in the box or an engineer's van.

Supply on its own isn't the cheapest way to run a plunge. It's there because keeping servicing in house is a fair choice.

What the engineer does on every visit.

On ProCare and ProCare+, an engineer attends at an agreed time and works through the whole system:

Water and filtration: full system drain, chemical flush and refill; pre-filter and return orifice cleaned; filter housing stripped and inspected; O-rings and seals replaced

Plant and cooling: compartment and condenser deep-cleaned; pipework inspected; pump descaled; flow meter cleaned. On Spa, the media bed head serviced and levels topped up

Performance and control: compressor and chiller circuit tested; RCD and safety checks; expansion valve verified; sensors and doser calibrated; full run test

Parts on interval: seals every visit, and the compressor capacitor annually on Spa. UV lamps and dosing tubes come with Supply and are fitted on the visit at no extra labour

Reporting: a completion sheet after every visit, with photo-evidenced advisories, held in HALO

Everything that runs out, before it runs out.

  1. 01 · Every visit

Service, box handed over, seals replaced, advisories filed.

  2. 02 · Every month

Laboratory bacterial test, booked and recorded.

  3. 03 · Every quarter

The box: reagents, solutions, and filters on Pro.

  4. 04 · Every six months

Chlorine and acid by specialist carrier; UV lamp on Pro.

  5. 05 · Every year

Dosing tubes; UV lamp and capacitor on Spa.

  6. 06 · Every five years

Spa media bed replaced, quoted separately and planned well ahead.

Spa systems run a media bed rather than cartridge filters, so there are no filters to supply. Your team backwashes it when the pressure rises; we check the levels every visit and top them up once a year.

How often, and for how long.

Most sites choose this

Quarterly.

Four visits a year, matched to the supply cycle. The lowest total cost for a typical commercial site.

Monthly.

Twelve visits a year. For high-footfall sites, studio timetables built around the plunge, and anywhere the unit is the reason people booked.

Twice a year.

For lower-use installations, on ProCare only. ProCare+ needs a quarterly service, because the supply box comes with the engineer.

Choose a one, two or three-year term. The longer the term, the lower the monthly figure: 5% off at two years, 10% off at three. On ProCare+ the discount covers servicing and supply together. Most sites choose three years. Pay monthly by Direct Debit from the month your unit is delivered, with nothing to pay before it arrives. Or add the whole term to your unit order as capital expenditure, if that suits your budget better.

Priced per unit, confirmed at quotation.

One visit. One standard. The whole site.

Where a venue runs several units, one visit services them all, so downtime stays inside one planned window. The second unit costs less to service for that reason. Supply is the same for every unit, because each bath uses what it uses. One delivery covers the site, sized to what the units actually consume, and three or four units usually move to a six-weekly drop so nothing sits in a plant room longer than it should. Estates across several sites get one consolidated Direct Debit, one account manager and one fleet view in HALO.

What stays with your team.

Daily chemical management and independent testing stay with the operator, by regulation, on any commercial system. Nobody can take that off you. What changes on ProCare+ is everything around it: supply turns up before it runs out, we keep the record in HALO, and support is a call away.

Your team runs the daily routine: water tests through the day, a wipe-down and filter rinse, the chemical levels checked. We train your staff ourselves, at handover and after it. Certified water treatment training for the people who hold the duty comes through an expert partner we'll refer you to.

Twelve months as standard. Up to three years if you extend.

Every commercial unit ships with a 12-month warranty. Extended Warranty takes cover to three years from delivery, covering the chiller, pump, control panel, electronics, UV and dosing system, parts and labour. You don't need a care contract to take it; anyone can, inside the first 12 months from delivery. A longer ProCare or ProCare+ term makes it cheaper: 25% off with two years, 50% off with three.

Any warranty, ours included, rests on a unit that's been maintained and run on genuine parts. On ProCare+ the full record of that is held in HALO.

How the warranty works

HALO's live telemetry and performance monitoring is included with every unit, and it's what our support team works from. They're your first line: when you call, they can already see what the plant has been doing. Anything complex goes to our specialist engineer for triage. Around 95% of issues are resolved remotely, with no visit needed. When a visit is needed, a UK engineer is booked and arrives knowing what the system has been doing since the last one. Under warranty or a care contract, our service level agreement commits us to acknowledge every ticket the same working day, give a first response within two business days, and offer an engineer appointment by priority.
