Cold water immersion, dosed like the rest of your programme.
On most performance floors, cold is the thing at the end: hard session, sore athletes, ten minutes in the ice. Used on feel, not on dose, it does little of what it could. Ill-timed, it can work against the programme. Run as a dose-governed protocol, it's something else entirely: stress training you choose, timed and measured.
Name the outcome, then dose it.
Between two fixtures, cold after the session may be exactly right. Mid training block, it may be working against you. So cold is stress training you choose, periodised the way you periodise everything else on the floor: the right dose, at the right time, progressed against the athlete in front of you. Tolerance, Capacity, Regulation. T>C>R™ is the structure the protocol runs on, and it's what turns cold from habit into a protocol your performance staff can stand behind.
The science & T>C>R
Periodised, not blanket-applied.
Cold is timed away from the windows where it could blunt a strength or hypertrophy stimulus, and used where it serves the athlete. What's established: cold reliably triggers the body's acute stress response, measurable and repeatable. Repeated, controlled exposure trains the recovery side of that response: heart-rate recovery, parasympathetic reactivation. Whether that carries into load tolerance across the training week is contested and under test; we don't claim it. Dosing runs on six variables and four session classes, set with your team in consultation and matched to the training week. And every system connects through HALO (live telemetry, water temperature, uptime, remote diagnostics) so the environment the protocol depends on is watched, and faults get caught before they cost a session.

A protocol you can defend.
The Cold Standard is how cold water immersion is done properly: science, infrastructure, governance. For a performance environment, the weight sits on programming and governance. Programming: the dose, the timing and the progression, periodised against the training week, so cold serves the programme instead of fighting it. Governance: protocol discipline, a clear safety floor, evidence-graded claims and UK post-sale service through ProCare. That's what lets a performance director stand the practice up in front of a medical team, a board and a duty-of-care standard. Infrastructure underneath: commercial-grade systems, connected on HALO, run day-to-day by your team with our engineers behind them.

The systems the protocol runs on.
A protocol is only as strong as the water it runs in. For a performance recovery suite, a full squad through in a session window, the Pro range is built for the job: Pro Chill runs down to 3°C for up to 75 users a day; Pro Ice holds 0°C and makes its own ice, for up to 50. Both are engineered for daily squad use and connected on HALO. For academies and multi-sport sites with higher throughput, the Spa range carries up to 400 users a day. For team-room contrast setups, the same systems pair with heat on a circuit your staff can run to the programme. And where cold is being designed into a performance facility from the start, a built-in recovery zone with plant out of sight, Custom design-and-build takes it from drawing to floor.

Run at the top of the game.
Brass Monkey is installed across elite sport: top-flight clubs and elite training environments, including a delivered installation at The Hilton for The FA.

Sports facilities: the same discipline, facility scale.
Universities, academies, private member clubs and multi-sport facilities face the same question at a different scale: how do you put cold on the floor so it earns its place for every athlete who uses it, from the first team down? Same answer. Dose-governed protocols your staff can run, governance that stands up to a duty-of-care review, systems specified to the space and the throughput. Tell us what you're building and we'll shape it with you.
