Reformer Collective: Completing the Wellness Package with Contrast Therapy
The Vision: 100% Complete
Reformer Collective & ROX Life are design-led boutique fitness and wellness studios redefining how people move, recover, and feel. Offering a diverse range of reformer Pilates, barre, yoga, strength, and high-energy cycling classes, the studios are built around expert instruction, community, and empowering movement for all abilities.
Recognising that world-class classes alone weren’t enough, the business set out to expand its offering with ice bath and sauna facilities to support complete recovery. The goal was clear: to create a space where members could train, recover, and reset all in one place.
Members can now enjoy reformer Pilates, cycling, strength training, and contrast therapy as part of a seamless, all-encompassing wellness experience.
Why Contrast Therapy Made Sense
The decision to invest in cold water therapy was strategic. Reformer Collective identified contrast therapy as a growing market delivering proven benefits for health, wellness, and recovery. With everything the brand offers through its classes and studio experience, adding professional recovery facilities was a natural progression.
Recovery was always intended to be part of the journey, completing the studio’s holistic approach to movement, performance, and wellbeing.
Three Non-Negotiables for Cold Plunge Selection
When evaluating suppliers, Reformer Collective had clear requirements.
Aesthetic excellence. Design was non-negotiable. The cold plunges needed to integrate seamlessly into a premium studio environment and align with the brand’s commitment to creating beautiful, considered spaces.
High-performance capability. The equipment had to deliver consistent, precise temperature control and perform reliably throughout daily commercial use.
PWTAG-compliant filtration. This was the deciding factor. Water quality and cleanliness were essential, with full compliance to PWTAG standards ensuring safe, hygienic operation and peace of mind from a health and safety perspective.
Integrating Recovery into the Member Journey
Reformer Collective didn’t simply install cold plunges — the entire member experience was designed around a bespoke contrast therapy service. Recovery Room time slots align with the end of reformer Pilates classes, creating a natural, seamless flow through the studio. Members finish their class, grab a drink, and move directly into the contrast therapy space.
Community feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with strategic scheduling transforming recovery from a standalone add-on into an integrated part of the Reformer Collective experience.
The Recommendation: Industry Leading for a Reason
"Absolutely. Industry leading, high standard, fantastic cold plunge and ice bath. It's number one for a reason and we're glad we're on board."
"This cold plunge provides us everything we need to run a fabulous contrast therapy space."

Matching capacity to demand
When adding an ice bath to your gym, start by thinking about how many members will use it each day. Demand usually grows quickly once people experience the benefits. If the ice bath is on the gym floor or open for unrestricted use, it’s best to choose a higher-capacity system. Our Spa range is built to handle busy peak times without dropping performance.
