Ever settle for just ‘OK’? Neither do we.
When we set out to make our ice baths, we knew we’d never settle for ‘okay.’ We had to create something exceptional. We can’t help it. It’s just the way we’re built. These are proper ice baths, always built beautiful. Always exceptional. No Exceptions.
Automated Ice Creation
Our Ice Baths can reach 0°C. That’s as cold as water gets.
When you set a Brass Monkey ice bath below 2°C, it creates thin sheets of ice that break up as they release. It’s patented technology for a reason. Built for those looking for a new level of cold. Cold that no other Ice Bath comes close to matching.
What does 0°C feel like?
Think of the water you’d find after cracking through the ice of a frozen lake. That’s the level of cold we’re talking. You can set your Brass Monkey between 10°C and 0°C. So wherever you are on your journey with the cold, know that you own the only Ice Bath that takes you as far as it’s possible to go.

How will my ice bath be delivered?
For your convenience, we offer three types of delivery for your residential ice bath:
UK kerbside delivery (£150)
We deliver your ice bath fully wrapped on a pallet on your driveway for you to move into your preferred position. If you have more than three steps, tight corridors or uneven ground, you may need specialist equipment, or a crane. If you would like to discuss the details of your delivery please contact us.
UK simple delivery & set up (£595)
Our team will position your ice bath, unwrap it, and install the filters. We will fill your ice bath, and give you an overview of how to use and maintain it. All of the information we run through is also available on our ice bath app which can be accessed at any time.
International FedEx delivery (price on request)UK VAT is removed prior to shipping. You will then be contacted via FedEx to pay liable duties and taxes once the ice bath arrives into customs.
How do I keep my ice bath clean?
Brass Monkey ice baths have two filters constantly working to keep your water clean, clear and fresh.
The particle filter removes the debris and keeps your water clear, so this ice bath accessory needs to be replaced once a month for the best immersion experience.
The UV filter passes the water through a small chamber surrounding a UV bulb. The light from the bulb kills bacteria and viruses that may be present in the water. We recommend changing the bulb every six months.
For most users, no chemicals are needed. If your bath is being used multiple times a day with users who do not shower before using the ice bath, we suggest using Huwa-San (silver stabilised hydrogen peroxide). This is an eco-friendly product that breaks down to water and oxygen, leaving no harmful by-products in the water. In these cases, we also recommend changing the water 1-4 times a year.
Does my ice bath need to be plugged in at all times?
We recommend keeping your ice bath plugged in at all times. Once the bath has reached your set temperature, the only function that remains active is the filtration which requires very little power to run. If you switch off the power, the chiller that keeps your water cold will also switch off.
The main power consumption is from the chiller which, depending on your chosen temperature and the surrounding conditions will run for around 20-25% of the day. Note that if the bath is in a hot environment, it will take longer to chill the water.
Where should I put my ice bath?
Brass Monkey ice baths can be housed inside or outside as they are IP44 rated. If you choose to place your bath outside, we recommend placing it under a canopy to protect it against direct sunlight on very hot days. However, this is not essential.
Your ice bath is freestanding and requires no integration. You will need: a solid and level floor, a power supply (standard 230v) within four metres, and a hosepipe (unless you choose the integrated water and waste option). Please discuss this with the team.
If your ice bath is going to live in a room that is typically over 25°C, we would recommend venting to the outside. The unit needs to draw cool air in, and expel hot air.
Brass Monkey ice baths have a vent along the back and right-hand side, which need 30cm clearance from the wall for adequate ventilation. This is also to allow room to change the filters.
What if something goes wrong with my ice bath?
As our ice baths are WiFi enabled, we have visibility of your bath’s performance at our HQ. If something goes wrong, we can solve most issues remotely via the WiFi-connected software in your bath.
Should a mechanical issue arise, our residential baths come with a 2-year Limited Warranty (https://www.brassmonkey.co/pages/warranty-information) that includes replacing parts shown to have defects in workmanship and covers defects or malfunctions that arise during normal use conditions.
How long should I stay in an ice bath?
The duration depends on your experience and the water temperature. A good starting point is to focus on steady breathing, stay mindful of your purpose, and aim for about two minutes. If it feels uncomfortable or overwhelming, it’s okay to exit early—listen to your body.
What are the key health benefits of ice baths?
Regular ice bath sessions can help decrease inflammation, improve circulation, enhance mental clarity, speed up recovery, and boost the immune system.
Are ice baths safe for beginners?
Yes, beginners can safely use ice baths by starting with warmer temperatures and shorter sessions. If you have pre-existing conditions, such as cardiovascular concerns, consult a healthcare professional before starting cold water therapy.
