Parts & Labour Service Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all parts and labour repair services provided by Brass Monkey Health Ltd ("Brass Monkey", "we", "us", "our") for ice bath products that are outside their original warranty period, or where warranty coverage does not apply.
By requesting or approving a repair, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of Service
This is a chargeable repair service, not a manufacturer's warranty. All work is carried out on a best-effort basis to diagnose, repair, or replace faulty components. Brass Monkey does not guarantee that all faults can be successfully resolved.
2. Quotations & Approval
A written quotation will be provided where reasonably possible before work begins. Quotes may include replacement parts, labour, call-out fees, and travel expenses where applicable. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
Work will only commence once the Customer has approved the quote (in writing or verbally) and agreed to these Terms. Approval of a quote constitutes acceptance of these Terms in full.
3. Charges & Payment
The Customer agrees to pay all charges associated with the repair, including parts supplied, labour time, and diagnostic time — even where a repair is not completed. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is required before work commences or before parts are dispatched.
Brass Monkey reserves the right to request a deposit before ordering parts, and to withhold completed work or parts until payment has been received in full.

4. Parts Supply
Replacement parts may be new or refurbished/reconditioned to equivalent quality. Availability is subject to supplier stock and lead times. Brass Monkey is not liable for delays caused by third-party suppliers.
5. Labour & Access
Labour charges apply to diagnosis, repair work, and installation of replacement parts. Estimated completion times are indicative and not guaranteed.
The Customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the unit and suitable working conditions for the engineer. Failure to do so may result in the visit being aborted and additional charges being applied.
6. Repair Guarantee
Parts fitted and labour performed are covered by a limited repair guarantee of 30 days from the date of completion. This covers defects in the replacement part supplied and faults directly related to the repair work carried out.
The guarantee does not cover unrelated faults, system-wide failures, wear and tear, or damage arising from misuse or inadequate maintenance.
7. Exclusions
Brass Monkey is not responsible for pre-existing issues not identified during diagnosis; additional faults discovered during or after repair; or damage caused by incorrect use, lack of maintenance, environmental conditions, or services supply issues (including power surges or water quality).
8. Warranty Status
Repairs carried out under these Terms do not reinstate, extend, or modify the original product warranty. The product remains outside of warranty at all times. For full warranty terms, see our Warranty Information page.
9. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer must follow all Brass Monkey usage and maintenance guidelines, ensure appropriate power supply and installation environment, and take reasonable steps to prevent further damage to the unit. Failure to do so may void the 30-day repair guarantee.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brass Monkey's liability is limited to the value of the repair service provided. Brass Monkey is not liable for loss of use, business interruption, or indirect or consequential losses arising from the repair or the condition of the product.
11. Cancellation
Parts orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed with our suppliers. Cancellation of a booked labour visit with less than 2 business days' notice may incur a cancellation fee. See our Service & Call-Out Charges for applicable rates.
12. Abandoned or Unrepairable Units
If a unit is deemed beyond economical repair, the Customer remains liable for diagnostic time and any parts supplied up to that point. Brass Monkey is not obligated to continue repair attempts once this determination has been made. We will inform the Customer in writing before ceasing work.
13. Force Majeure
Brass Monkey shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including supply chain disruption, extreme weather, or other events outside our control.
14. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where you are purchasing as a consumer.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
