Warranty Information
This Warranty operates in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.
1. Definitions
"Brass Monkey" means Brass Monkey Health Ltd. "Product" means Brass Monkey residential or commercial ice baths, plunges, barrels and associated chillers supplied by Brass Monkey. "Consumer" means an individual purchasing for non‑commercial, domestic use. "Commercial / Pro" means any business, professional, public or high‑throughput use (including gyms, spas, studios, hotels and clubs). "Original Purchaser" means the first owner named on the Brass Monkey invoice. "Order Acceptance" means the point at which Brass Monkey has received payment in full for the Order, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
2. Residential Warranty
For Consumers, Brass Monkey provides a 2‑year Limited Warranty from the date of delivery covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use.
Service scope (Residential). Within mainland UK, warranty service may include parts and labour. Outside mainland UK, Brass Monkey will supply parts with remote technical guidance for fitting by an approved technician.
2a. Residential Warranty Extension (Optional)
Brass Monkey offers an optional Warranty Extension providing an additional year of coverage (up to a total of 4 years from delivery date, comprising the standard 2‑year warranty plus up to 2 additional years of extended coverage).
- Price: £780.00 (inc. VAT) per year of extension.
- When to purchase: May be purchased at any time during or after the standard warranty period. The extension is also included with certain product packages—for more information, please Contact Us.
- Coverage period: Extension begins after the standard 2‑year warranty expires.
- Covered components: The extension covers electrical and mechanical items only, including: chiller unit, pump, control panel, electronics board, UV system, and steel components.
- Not covered: Consumables (filters, O‑rings, seals, gaskets, sacrificial anodes, UV bulbs/lamps), cladding, and any items listed in Sections 5 and 6.
- Additional requirements:
- The product must be connected to WiFi for remote diagnostics and performance monitoring.
- Evidence of routine maintenance must be provided (including maintenance records showing filter cleaning/replacement and water chemistry within recommended parameters).
- Non‑transferable: The warranty extension is tied to the Original Purchaser and is not transferable if the Product is sold or ownership changes.
- Service scope: Same as standard residential warranty (Section 2).

3. Commercial / Pro Warranty
For Commercial / Pro use, Brass Monkey provides a 12‑month Limited Warranty from the date of delivery covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal commercial use.
Service scope (Commercial / Pro). Within mainland UK, warranty service may include parts and labour. Outside mainland UK, Brass Monkey will supply parts with remote technical guidance for fitting by an approved technician.
Authorised service. Warranty repairs must be carried out by Brass Monkey or an authorised service agent. Use of non‑genuine parts or unapproved modifications voids the warranty.
3a. Commercial / Pro Warranty Extension (Optional)
Brass Monkey offers an optional Warranty Extension providing additional years of coverage (up to a total of 3 years from delivery date, comprising the standard 12‑month warranty plus up to 2 additional years of extended coverage).
- Price: £1,250.00 (ex. VAT) per year of extension.
- When to purchase: May be purchased at any time during or after the standard warranty period. The extension is also included with certain product packages—for more information, please Contact Us.
- Coverage period: Extension begins after the standard 12‑month warranty expires.
- Covered components: The extension covers electrical and mechanical items only, including: chiller unit, pump, control panel, electronics board, UV system, steel components, and dosing system.
- Not covered: Consumables (filters, O‑rings, seals, gaskets, sacrificial anodes, UV bulbs/lamps), cladding, and any items listed in Sections 5 and 6.
- Additional requirements:
- Product must be connected to WiFi for remote diagnostics and performance monitoring.
- Evidence of routine maintenance must be provided (including maintenance records showing filter cleaning/replacement and water chemistry within recommended parameters).
- Non‑transferable: The warranty extension is tied to the Original Purchaser and is not transferable if the Product is sold or ownership changes.
- Service scope: Same as standard Commercial / Pro warranty (Section 3).
- Authorised service: Same requirements as Section 3 apply.

4. Conditions of Coverage
- Installation & environment. Installed per Brass Monkey specifications with adequate ventilation, drainage and power supply.
- Operation & maintenance. Operated within stated ranges; routine maintenance (including filter cleaning/replacement and water chemistry within recommended parameters) performed and recorded.
- Genuine parts/accessories. Only Brass Monkey‑approved parts and accessories are used.
- Proof of purchase. Valid Brass Monkey invoice or order confirmation provided upon request.

5. When Warranty Doesn't Apply (or is Voided)
- Improper water chemistry or unsuitable additives (including unapproved chemicals, excessive sanitizer levels, corrosive/abrasive agents).
- Lack of maintenance (e.g., neglected filters, poor water balance, restricted water/air flow).
- Improper installation, misuse or abuse, including operation outside specified temperatures, duty/load, freezing damage, or dry‑running pumps.
- Unauthorised modifications or repairs, non‑genuine parts, or third‑party integrations not approved by Brass Monkey.
- Power supply issues, surges, outages, incorrect voltage, or ingress of debris caused by site conditions.
- Accident, cosmetic wear & tear (scratching, fading, staining, discolouration) not affecting function.
- Transport/handling or site damage after delivery.
6. Consumables (Not Covered)
Consumables are not covered. Consumables include, without limitation: insulated toppers, filters, O‑rings, seals, gaskets, sacrificial anodes, UV bulbs/lamps.

8. Out of Warranty Service
If your product is outside its warranty period, or if the warranty has been voided under Section 5, Brass Monkey can still help. Repair, parts, and diagnostic services are available on a chargeable basis.
What the service covers
Out of warranty service is a best-effort chargeable repair. We will diagnose the fault, provide a written quote, and carry out agreed work using genuine or equivalent-quality parts. The following charges may apply:
- Diagnostic time — charged even if a repair is not completed
- Replacement parts (new or refurbished to equivalent quality)
- Labour and installation
- Call-out or travel where an engineer visit is required

Repair guarantee
Parts fitted and labour performed under a paid repair carry a 30-day guarantee from the date of completion. This covers defects in the replacement part supplied and faults directly related to the repair carried out. It does not reinstate or extend the original product warranty, and the product remains out of warranty status at all times.
How it works
- Contact our support team to describe the fault. We will advise whether a remote session, parts dispatch, or an engineer visit is the right first step.
- We provide a written quote covering estimated parts, labour, and any call-out charges.
- You approve the quote. Work begins only once approval is confirmed and, where required, a deposit is received.
- We carry out the repair. On completion, a summary of work and the 30-day repair guarantee period is confirmed in writing.
Important to know
- Parts orders cannot be cancelled once placed with our suppliers.
- Labour bookings cancelled with less than 2 business days' notice may incur a cancellation fee.
- If a unit is deemed beyond economical repair, diagnostic time and any parts already supplied remain chargeable.
- Brass Monkey's liability for out of warranty repairs is limited to the value of the repair service provided. Consequential losses, including downtime or loss of use, are excluded to the extent permitted by law.

- Sole remedy. Brass Monkey may repair or replace defective parts/components, or supply functionally equivalent refurbished parts.
- Exclusion of indirect loss. No consequential or indirect losses (including downtime or loss of use/profit) are covered, where exclusion is permitted by law.
- Territorial limits. Outside mainland UK, Brass Monkey may supply parts and remote guidance in lieu of on‑site service.
- Statutory rights. Consumers retain all rights under applicable consumer law.
10. Territory
This Warranty applies within the United Kingdom. For Products installed outside the UK, Brass Monkey may, at its discretion, supply parts and remote technical guidance in lieu of on‑site service.
11. Maintenance Services (Optional)
Brass Monkey offers optional maintenance packages for domestic and commercial users. These services are not a condition of warranty and do not extend or modify the warranty. The same access and cancellation rules apply as set out in the applicable Terms of Sale.
